Malthusianism and conflict in the context of climate change

' The population growth is not linear, but exponential. The resources and food supply in linear' said Malthu Matthus in 1798.  Ultimately, the growth of food supply will be insufficient for population growth, which will trigger the population decline through femininity and malnutrition. Interestingly enough, the prediction also includes war and conflict due to the scarcity of food products.  In his hypothesis in An Essay on the Principle of Population, he argued that 'The happiness of a country does not depend, absolutely, upon its poverty, or its riches, upon its youth, or its age, upon its being thinly, or fully inhabited, but upon the rapidity with which it is increasing, upon the degree in which the yearly increase of food approaches to the yearly increase of an unrestricted population.' How much this hypothesis has materialized in the last 200 years? The current population is more than 8 billion. In 1800, the population was estimated to be around 1 billion. The gro...
