Leading by example

From early morning to the evening, my son gets hundreds of instructions from me and my wife, and occasionally from my four-year-old daughter. My son must have remembered what we are going to tell him to do next. This is not parenting, we realized. So I decided to note it down and try it myself. This is what 'lead by example' must be.  Here are some of the 'words of wisdom' we pour into our son. wake up on time organize your room eat on time drink more water take a shower be at the bus stop on time study hard in the school be careful while crossing the road when he returns from school put your dressing on the laundry box/room wash your hand complete your homework and projects first don't play video games too long limit your screen time dinner on time exercise take care of your sister spend some time with us improve your handwriting don't be grumpy Do some dishes if you can got to bed on time here are a few more general instructions speak softly, don't shout B...
